Our Process – It’s as Easy as 1, 2, 3
We know that choosing to build a new home or embarking on a remodeling project is an exciting endeavor. We strive to make sure that the experience is both rewarding and enjoyable from start to finish and that the end result meets your vision.
Many key decisions can be made at our office/design center, working closely with our staff and design team. This comfortable setting allows you to review plans, budgets, time frames and design samples.
We guide you through the entire design/build process, utilizing a systematic approach that keeps you informed and involved every step of the way.
1. Discovery
Whether you own a lot and home plans or only have a dream, we can help assess your specific situation in our first discovery meeting. This gives you enough information to decide if custom building or remodeling is the right choice for you.
2. Plan Design Process
You will meet our in-house design team and begin drafting your vision. This is the part of the process that allows your vision to come to life.
3. Final Estimating
We take your design and give you a working budget for the cost of construction. We believe that accuracy is expected and entrusted to us by our clients and it is our goal to eliminate as many surprises as possible.
4. Contract Process
Once we have procured costing for your project, we begin the contract phase. We believe in a “Fixed Cost” method versus a “Cost Plus” method. “Fixed Cost” enables you to know exactly what your financial commitment will be at the end of the job.
5. Design Process
This is the fun part! Our designer will meet with you and aid in making selections that achieve your personal style while taking your budget into account. Meetings will take place both in our office/design center as well as around town at vendor showrooms.
6. Construction Begins
Our field superintendents and vendors work together to craft your vision keeping quality and timing of the upmost importance. We have several internal checks to maintain the quality commitment and we utilize a customer-integrated software program to keep you up to date with a record of your selections, upgrades, scheduling, etc.
7. Orientation
Upon completing construction, we walk you through room by room and educate you on the features of your project.
8. Committed Service Program
This is one of the most important aspects of our business. We stay committed even after the job is complete to ensure that everything is working properly and you are happy with the end result.
